I want to thank you and your team for helping document the old cemeteries. If it were not for you, I would not have known of the cemeteries moved to build that lake. My ancestors were moved to the Government cemetery.
It is absolutly amazing the work you have put into this website and for Grayson county. KUDOS to you all! |

If you ever come across anything with the name Sires on it, pleae let me know. Charles Sires in particular, born in 1883 in Grayson County. His dad, also Charles Sires, I believe died in a gunfight before he was born. His mother , name unknown, died of spinal meningitis when Charles was 5 months old. This should have been around May 1884. Thanks. |

I think this is wonderful what you are doing. If you get into Oklahoma doing this, I think I may know of a cemetary in Cartwright. Also I know of one in Denison that I am not sure has been noted. I remember my mother telling me that it was an old indian cemetary. You can email me. Would love to help, but don't know if I can or not. |
