Anshul:

We've played about 8 games now and elected not to use three cards: Electron Stock Exchange; Boosting Catalysts, and Carbon Monoxide compound. We played without them and it seems like a more balanced game.

CO is a common compound, so it can be procured fairly easily.

All in all, we're having fun and reading your card descriptions.

The first thing we noticed about this game was that carbon monoxide is too powerful.  It's so good I wondered if I was was missing something.  Compare it to carbon dioxide: the same elements to make it, one greater power, but without the awesome ability to remove three cards from the enemy.  Compare it to any other compound and it's still so good.

At the very least, make it something like: your opponent chooses any two cards that he own on the board to be put into the toxic pile.

I am very disappointed that non-U.S. PayPal accounts are not accepted!

I received the game in record time. Great execution on ease of ordering and fast delivery.

I'll give the game as a Christmas gift, so I can't try it out yet. The graphics look excellent.

No reviews yet on Board Game Geek, but I'll post one after playing. 12/9/2008

I live in Tokyo, and would be interested in purchasing the game, but since you do not ship outside the U.S., I cannot purchase it from you.  It would help if you could ship outside the U.S.

As a professional translator/interpreter/proofreader, please allow me to point out some minor suggestions for two of your pull-down menus.

In your "- Order Elementeo Chemistry Card Game" page (http://www.elementeo.com/orderelementeogame), in your "Who are you?" pull-down menu, it seems strange that "College Student" and "Professor" are listed, but not "Graduate School Student" or "Ph.D. Student."  The term "College Student" usually refers to a student who has not yet achieved a B.A. or B.S; the term "Graduate School Student" usually refers to a student who has achieved a B.A. or B.S., but not yet achieved a M.A. or M.S; and the term "PhD Student" usually refers to a student who has achieved an M.A. or M.S., but not yet achieved a PhD.

Also, in your following "Whom is this game for?" pull-down menu, it similarly seems strange that both "College" and "PhD" are listed, but not "Graduate School."  There are quite a few students who have already completed college but who are in a Master's degree program not aimed toward achieving a PhD who may be interested in this game, but there is no place in the list for them to fit it.

Hello Anshul,
I am a science/gifted education teacher who visited your booth at the NAGC conference this past week.  I was so impressed by your hard work and wished that I had been able to learn chemistry using your game when I was in school.  I shared your information with the guys at The Game Shop booth, as they were unaware of your game.  I hope that you will be able to work out a deal with them to help you get your game out there in an even bigger way.  I will be sharing your game with the science teachers in my district so hopefully you will get some business from us.  You go guy!Cool

My 9 year old recently was handed a plastic card with the periodic table on it.  He saw it as a decoder and wanted to learn more.  I was so glad to find your game - as this is such a 9 year old friendly way to get a first impression of chemistry. Thanks for your innovation.

BTW: Can I ask who you used as a manufacturer of you game, I have a math game I would like to produce.

Fondly,

Laura

Hi I'm in 6th grade and in Sience we were reading a magazine called "Science World" and I saw a page about you and Elementeo. My friend and I want some cards, but it says, "CA residents only". Does that mean we can only buy it in California? I hope not... Anyways thanks!Tongue

Hi,

I'm really interested in getting a copy of your game for my son. When will it be possible for you to accept an order from the UK?

Alternatively, I am planning to be in San Jose, CA in November - is there anywhere I can pick up a copy in the city or could you send it to the hotel I am staying?

Regards,

Lars
